Four Awarded the Designation of RBSM at UNIBAR

 

Fairfax, VA- January 2006- John Scott, Larry DeShane, Donna Kendle and George McBurrows of UNIBAR Maintenance Services Inc., Ann Arbor, Michigan have been awarded the designation of Registered Building Service Manager (RBSM) by the Building Service Contractors Association International. The designation was conferred by Greg Littlefield, President of BSCAI, and Mitchell Murch, II, CBSE, Chairman of BSCAI’s Registration Board.

The RBSM program aids the public by designating those in the building service contracting industry who have applied for and met BSCAI’s high standards of competence and qualifications.

Currently the Association has 400 Registered Building Service Managers, all of whom have satisfied stringent criteria and have passed a rigorous examination. BSCAI has a special Registration Board, which administers the program. This registration board is currently chaired by Mitchell Murch II, CBSE, Mitch Murch’s Maintenance Management Co., St. Louis, MO.

Registration examinations are generally given several times a year in conjunction with BSCAI’s meetings and seminars. Applications for registration are available from BSCAI Headquarters, 10201 Lee Highway, Suite 225, Fairfax, VA 22030 or BSCAI’s website www.bscai.org

The Building Service Contractors Association is a trade association comprised of companies performing a wide variety of building maintenance services on a contract basis. The Association was formed in 1965 and has grown to include a cross section of firms from small, closely held family firms to large corporations with numerous branches. Today the Association encompasses over 1800 members from 39 countries in a 13.5 billion industry.
