Cleanroom – Micro-Contamination

No one understands the science of Micro-Contamination Control and Cleanroom cleaning better than UNIBAR Maintenance Services Inc. UNIBAR Maintenance Service, being ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 Certified, is a leader in cleanroom services. Our professional staff has over a decade of experience working for some of the most demanding manufacturers in the world.

What is "Cleanroom Cleaning"?

A room that is virtually free from dust or bacteria: used in laboratory work and in assembly or repair of precision equipment.

We understand the methods and materials needed to work in a cleanroom environment. We know that the cleaning frequency and the cleaning intensity makes a material difference in the outcome of the cleaning process.

The effectiveness of our cleanroom methods and materials has been scientifically validated in studies conducted in conjunction with the University of Arizona and Research Triangle Institute. These studies have proven that our cleaning processes optimize contamination removal and reduce particulate generation from body movement.

"As a cleanroom service company, UNIBAR Maintenance Services Inc. is aggressively pursuing excellence of standards with the results benefiting the entire controlled environment community."

Our comprehensive training programs enhance the effectiveness and productivity of service workers.

Working with Arizona State University, we’ve developed a unique cleanroom certification program for our managers and service workers. Our comprehensive training programs transcend traditional boundaries by incorporating appropriate scientific content with a holistic approach to controlling the environment. The programs are designed to dramatically enhance effectiveness and productivity of personnel by teaching the philosophy of the "cleanroom as an extended system." All aspects of the controlled environment, from the room to the people in it, to the facilities surrounding it, to the suppliers of equipment and materials, are considered to be linked and vital to the purpose of contamination control.

The level of cleaning you need, and the documentation to prove it.

UNIBAR Maintenance Services exceeds the designed-class cleanliness standard for every cleanroom we maintain.

Through research and development, our Director of Technical Support, who is a senior voting member of IEST, helped rewrite the most current IEST cleaning standards and protocols "RP-CC018.3 Cleanroom Housekeeping-Operating and Monitoring Procedures", which demonstrates new ergonomic and high quality cleaning methods. Whether your cleanroom is Class 1, or Class 100,000, working with UNIBAR Maintenance Service begins with a "deep" or "aseptic" cleaning custom-tailored to your needs. We maintain that level of cleanliness for you by training your workers in our methods and equipping them with our specially developed tools and materials. In maintaining the stable background, we are successful at keeping the housekeeping process from becoming a source of contamination.

Your on-site UNIBAR Maintenance Service manager is responsible for quality control. Our systems, techniques, and management skills are focused on providing specific, measurable quality improvements in the services we manage. We provide the documentation needed to satisfy any regulatory body to which you must answer.

A unique set of core competencies

Our core competencies allow you to focus fully on your core business while we handle your facility management needs. We provide:

  • Cost control and reduction
  • Performance improvement
  • Enhanced effectiveness
  • Certified cleaning processes

"This Cleanroom certification program is, to date, the only cleanroom program to utilize Certification of Management and trainers with this type of broad base education in controlled environments. The material is passed on to the service workers in a form, which they may readily assimilate. Judging by results in the field surveys, the resulting improvement in performance is, to say the least, very noticeable."

Dr. Michael N. Kozicki, Ph.D., C. Eng, Arizona State University, Director of College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Department of Electrical Engineering, Tempe Arizona states that:

"This micro-contamination program provides the education base and skill training to be successful in both regulated and controlled environments."

Anne Marie Dixon, Cleanroom Management Associates, Past President of IEST and current Head of the U.S. Delegation on Technical Committee 200 on Cleanrooms and Associated Controlled Environments.
